Melanie  graduated from The Acupuncture Academy in Leamington Spa having undertaken a 3 year, degree level course. She was awarded a Distinction in the Professional Licentiate in Acupuncture and was Highly Commended for her Clinical Work. She is a member of The Association of Acupuncture Clinicians which is an independent association of professional, clinical acupuncturists. Click here for more information. 

Having had acupuncture herself now for over 20 years, she wanted to be able to help to support others, and for them to gain the benefits from it that she has had over the years. 

As well as a qualified acupuncturist, Melanie is also a nurse, initially completing her Registered General Nurse training in 1994. She then went on to specialise in Paediatrics, completing her Registered Sick Children's Nurse training in 1998. 

This has given her a broad knowledge of health and the importance of individualised care.
